NRI works closely with a range of partners in delivering international development and acknowledges in particular its responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children under 18 and vulnerable adults when they are in contact with staff, student or sub-contracted partners.
This is achieved by ensuring that there are appropriate arrangements in place to enable the University to discharge its duty to provide a safe and secure environment, to prevent abuse, and to respond appropriately to suspected or reported abuse of under-18’s or vulnerable adults.
